Greater Metropolitan Atlanta Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. is proud to provide a platform for the development of future leaders through service, cultural and scholastic enrichment and community building. On behalf of the hard-working, dedicated mothers of the Greater Metropolitan Atlanta
Chapter (GMAC), I thank you for visiting our website – it is with great excitement that I greet
you!


I am particularly thrilled as this year marks five incredible years of our chapter’s existence.
As the 40th chapter inducted into Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated on September 30,
2012, GMAC Moms work effectively, efficiently and tirelessly for the children of GMAC.

GMAC in the Community 

March of Dimes

GMAC particpated in the March of Dimes March for Babies walk in 2012, 2013, and 2014. Raising over $10,000 in donations over the last three years, GMAC is committed to helping the March of Dimes ensure that babies, mothers, and families have “happy beginnings“.

Civil/Human Rights

The Center for Civil and Human Rights Movement to today's Global Human Rights Movements. Our purpose is to create a safe space for visitors to explore the fundamental rights of all human beings so that they leave inspired and empowered to join the ongoing dialogue about human rights in their communities.

Trayvon Martin Town Hall

GMAC hosted a critical discussion of Georgia's Stand Your Ground Law and a Candlelight Vigil Town Hall Meeting.

 

 

 

Walter Young YMCA

GMAC built and dedicated a reading nook at the Andrew and Walter Young YMCA on November 12,2011 with a donation of over 300 books. In addition to updating the book nook, GMAC participates in reading initiatives, sponsors a yearly Breakfast with Santa, and assists with the Annual Martin Luther Kink Jr. Day breakfast and commemorative program at the Andrew and Walter Young YMCA.

Race for the Cure

The Komen Race for the Cure® Series raises significant funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer, celebrates breast cancer survivorship, and honors those who have lost their battle with the disease.

Leadership Development Program Cotillion

Provides social, service and critical life skills that will help create responsible leaders, sustainable friendships and cultural experiences. Creates a fundraising event in support of the Jack and Jill of America Foundation and educational awards for the debutantes.
